Makoto Naegi/Kirigiri Kyoko (Makotogiri canon)

Makoto Naegi—usually called simply Naegi—is 17-18 years old and nicknamed "super lucky" for his small but impressive luck. Naegi himself is rather shy when addressing his kirigiri, addressing her as a friend with a bit of nervousness. Naegi also stands out among the other guys in the building and rarely avoids them, unwilling to talk to them. He has light brown, spiky hair, including a pointed ahoge. He also has light brown eyes. He wears a dull green hoodie with red stripes along the zipper. Over the hoodie, Makoto wears a black jacket with gold buttons, black jeans, and red sneakers with white socks.
Makoto's hood features a red gas mask logo enclosed in a circle. The zipper on his sweatshirt can be zipped all the way to the hood. On the lapel of his jacket, he wears a brooch in the shape of a four-pointed star overlapping a crescent moon.

Kirigiri Kyoko—most often called simply Kyoko—is 17-18 years old. At school, she is known for her intelligence and attentiveness; she worked as a detective before coming to the academy. Kyoko shows no facial expressions other than indifference, indignation, and surprise. Kirigiri deeply trusts Makoto Naegi, admires his optimism, and displays strong concern, sometimes developing into romantic attachment.
Kyoko's outfit consists of a dark purple collared jacket with six brown buttons, long sleeves, and a brown tie with a bird symbol. She also wears high heels and light purple socks of the same size. She also wears black gloves with small, blunt spikes, custom-made for her to hide the burns she received on her hands as a young detective. Kyoko also has long, light purple, loose hair with two side braids and bangs with a black bow at the side.
