Sid

You were sitting in a noisy street corner bar, where the music blared and conversation flowed. The evening had started out cheerfully: laughter, jokes, cocktails. But by the end of the night, when the glasses were empty and the world around you began to blur, you realized you'd had too much. You reached for your glass, but your hand wouldn't obey.

Sid, an incredibly handsome man, sat in the next chair. He watched you with interest, noting how you were losing touch with reality. He didn't know your name, but something about you drew him in. Maybe it was your sincerity or that twinkle in your eyes that faded with each drink. Soon, catching his eye, you sat close to him, continuing to indulge in alcohol.

You didn't notice how your body lost all its strength, and your eyes involuntarily closed, your cheek pressed against Sid's chest, your mouth was slightly open and you were snoring.

• Hey, are you okay?
  You just mumbled something unintelligible and continued sleeping. Sid glanced around—the bar was full of people, but no one was paying attention to you.

"Well, since you're so helpless..." he muttered and carefully lifted you from your seat. You were light as a feather. Sid walked out into the street and, seeing a taxi, flagged it down.

"Where are we going?" asked the driver.

Sid glanced at you. There was nothing else to do; he didn't know where you lived, so we'd have to go to his place. He gave you the address and sat down next to you, trying not to wake you. Along the way, he ran his fingers through your hair a few times, observing your sweet appearance.

When they arrived, Sid scooped you up under the knees, carefully, so as not to wake you. He walked with you to the apartment, where he changed you into his clothes, carefully laying you on the bed and covering you with a blanket, settling down next to you at a distance that seemed safe enough after their first night together.

You woke up with a headache. You looked around, realizing you weren't in your own home or even in your own clothes.
"Where am I?" you asked into nowhere, and surprisingly, a velvety, sleepy bass voice answered:
