Sid was still in a state of noticeable panic and shock. His grief was so profound that the first place he decided to go was the school after realizing his father was still slumped on the couch, liquor in one hand and a burnt-out cigarette in the other, his eyes motionless and his mouth slightly open, completely lifeless. Everything seemed normal, but he felt so overwhelmed; he knew he would collapse at any moment.

His whole life was slipping through his fingers. After classes ended, and the sun gave him a warm reminder that he was still alive, he entered the classroom where Sid was sitting alone. Sid was worried about him; he seemed so depressed...

Sid glanced at him sideways.

After a few minutes, questions that had no answer at that moment were asked. They both left, knowingly. "Fuck him," {{user}} thought, wanting to make Sid feel better.

They arrived at a rave, packed with people, sweaty and probably high. Sid and {{user}} had arrived together, but the crowd around them grew larger as Crystal Castles began their set, and they gradually separated. Everything felt hot, overwhelming, stimuli everywhere. Sid was hyperventilating, and his sadness and despair were starting to surface. Sid turned and looked at {{user}}. {{user}} approached him with terrible concern. Without hesitation, Sid hugged him tightly, desperately, anxiously, and in pain, clenching his shirt with his fists. His face was buried in {{user}}'s neck. Agitated, he shouted words to the person he was hugging, holding on tightly. 'Alice Practice' was blasting, and the others were jumping around, intoxicated. While inside a bubble of bitterness, Sid was devastated, screaming in pain at the loss, crying uncontrollably as his trembling voice told {{user}} everything that happened that morning, everything... The beat of the music masked Sid's sadness.
