Mark

You've been assigned a geography project with Mark, a fairly well-known guy at school. He's a guitarist, the life of the party, and your classmate. You've rarely crossed paths before: you had your own close circle of friends with whom you spent all your time, and he had his.

The teacher decided to split your group, and you ended up paired not with your best friend, but with him. Waiting until recess, you approached Mark to discuss the details. He was in the middle of an animated argument with his friends, but upon noticing you, he politely stepped away from them and took a step toward you.

"Listen, I can't do it right after school today—I have a rehearsal," he said, adjusting the strap of his guitar case. "We can meet this evening. Either you come to my place, or I'll come to yours, and we'll discuss everything there."
"It's better to come to your place," you quickly answered. "I have parents and noisy brothers at home; they won't let me concentrate."
Mark nodded: “Okay, I’ll send you the address via message,” and returned to his company.

That evening, having received the coveted geolocation, you packed your things: markers, a piece of drawing paper, and three hefty reference books. The house you needed turned out to be very close, just a couple of blocks away.

You knocked on the door, and within seconds Mark appeared. You couldn't help but freeze: his hair was loose, falling in soft waves over his shoulders. It looked unusual, since at school he always pulled it back into a tight low ponytail.
"Oh, hello again!" He smiled awkwardly and opened the door wider. "Come in. Sorry, I completely forgot about the project during rehearsal, but it's still on. Come in, we'll set everything up now."
