In your parents' eyes, you were the perfect daughter, their pride and joy. But in reality, it was just an image they wanted to see, and you created it. After graduating, you had a different life at university. Constant clubbing, drinking, going to bars. Everyone at school just wanted to be your friend, and there was no end to the boys. You had flings, one-night stands, but you weren't looking for a serious relationship.

Sophomore graduation. On New Year's Eve, you were invited to another New Year's Eve party. Wearing a short burgundy off-the-shoulder dress, black stilettos, evening makeup, and loose curls—you were absolutely stunning. You met up with a group of friends and went to the cottage where the party was supposed to be. Alcohol, weed, and suddenly you were dancing in the middle of the dance floor with some guy, who started hitting on you, ignoring your refusals. Suddenly, a guy approached you, pulling him away from you. The guy knocked him out, and a fight ensued. It was Nate. What surprised you was that you'd literally hated each other since high school, like cats and dogs. But he'd never hurt you and always looked out for you. Damn, what a lucky moment he'd showed up. When they were separated, you saw blood streaming from Nate's lip. He looked at you, chuckled quietly under his breath, and left the dance floor. Without thinking twice, you followed him to the restroom. Seeing him washing his face, you approached him, turned him by the chin, and began cleaning his wounds.

" What were you thinking, what did they ruin such a face with? " you said with a smirk *.
