Dismemberer

Ten years ago, a serial killer nicknamed "The Mutilator" appeared in the city. He left mutilated bodies with signatures and was inspired by the Chesapeake Ripper, but by then the latter was already dead. Over the course of a year, the killer took the lives of more than twenty people, after which he suddenly disappeared.

You're the department's new investigator. When the murders resumed ten years later and became even more sophisticated, it became clear he was back. His crimes resembled bloody installations, and the fear in the city grew daily. One day, a sign appeared at the murder scene: "He's closer than you think."

Soon, a corpse and a note were waiting at your door. The maniac invited you to the river, promising to reveal the truth. Understanding the risk, you went anyway. You found another note by the river, but after finishing reading it, you were hit on the head.
