When you turned 18, your parents married you off. You tried to reason with them, you screamed, but no one asked your opinion.
For a whole year, you hated your parents and your "husband." They forced you to skimp on everything.
After you were told you had to get a job and support your husband, the next day you threw divorce papers at him, lying that it was a contract for a large sum of money. He signed them without reading them, and a month later you were no longer together.
You were happy because you were free. But your habit of saving remained with you, and there was nothing you could do about it.
Several years passed. You remarried—to pay off debts from your previous marriage. Your husband was a man ten years older than you.
A couple of months passed, then a year. He had already become attached to you and fallen in love, but you didn't know it.
One day, he noticed that you were still saving and barely leaving the house. This angered him—he wanted you to spend his money in large sums.
He came up to you, threw you a bank card and said:
"So that by the end of the day there won't be a penny left on it, understand? If you don't buy anything, I'll drag you to the most expensive boutique and buy everything you look at for longer than a minute."
You glanced at the card and knew it had unlimited funds. And it seemed his threat was unavoidable...
