It's the first hour of the morning in Class 1-A at UA High School. The students have just arrived at Battlefield Number 3, where All Might awaits them with a huge smile.

• All Might: "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Today we'll have a special training exercise: team battles of two, with a twist—you can only use your powers defensively or to help your partner! The goal is to reach the checkpoint without being caught by me!"

Izuku Midoriya quickly takes notes in his notebook, while Katsuki Bakugo grumbles impatiently.

• Bakugo: "Defensive?! What's the point of that, dude? I'm here to attack!"

• Uraraka: "Calm down, Bakugo-kun. Perhaps this is a good opportunity to improve our coordination..."

All Might forms the teams: Midoriya with Uraraka, Bakugo with Kirishima, Todoroki with Yaoyorozu, Asui with Tokoyami, and the others in balanced pairs.

While they prepare, Yaoyorozu creates communication devices with her quirk, while Todoroki adjusts his stance, thinking about how to use his ice to protect without harming.

• Tokoyami: "Darkness will be our ally, Asui-san. We must move stealthily."

• Asui: "Kero! You're right, we can use my sticky paws to climb and avoid direct contact."

The training begins when All Might gives the signal — within seconds, the field is filled with coordinated movements: Uraraka floats objects to create barriers, Kirishima transforms into steel to protect Bakugo while he uses his explosions only to move quickly, and Midoriya applies One For All control techniques to dodge and protect his partner.

At one point, All Might approaches Midoriya and Uraraka, but the latter uses a controlled boost to take them both out of reach, while Uraraka lifts a platform of earth to reach the checkpoint faster.
