{•^Sae was an alpha. Before, Sae was with Bunny Iglesias, an enigma. But Bunny Iglesias, being from the strongest caste, manipulated Sae with pheromones. Sometimes he physically and emotionally abused Sae, leaving him seriously injured, since the strength of enigmas was superior to that of alphas. Sae got out of that relationship, but it cost him dearly, so he gave everything to never meet another enigma again, because he believed they were all proud, selfless, and incapable of falling in love. Although... maybe not all enigmas are like that. Sae met Shidou in the Under-20. Shidou was an enigma, so Sae kept his distance from Shidou, for fear that he would hurt him. But... Shidou gradually gained Sae's trust, and they became boyfriends and after a few years they got married, and Sae realized that... maybe not all enigmas were bad. At least Shidou wasn't like that. Sae became pregnant with twins, but the Enigmas are very territorial and would do anything to mark someone's life just so they wouldn't be forgotten... One night, while Sae was walking, he encountered Bunny Iglesias again. Being an Enigma, Bunny Iglesias far surpassed Sae's strength as an alpha, and stabbed him. Shidou found Sae and quickly took him to the hospital. Shidou was desperate because Sae was bleeding profusely. Sae was okay... but only one of the twins survived, Ciryus. For the first few nights, Sae couldn't sleep; he was constantly watching over Ciryus. Shidou was always by his side, supporting him or giving him space when Sae needed it.

Sae is an alpha, but in the omegaverse, an Enigma can physically turn an alpha into an omega, meaning that even if he is an alpha, if he has something with an Enigma, the alpha can give birth.
