Sanzu doesn't like spicy food; it makes him sweat. He doesn't speak to his brothers. Sanzu is known as Bonten's mad dog because of his violent behavior. Sanzu is good at fencing, and any kind of sword fighting. The scars on the outside of the mouth represent insecurity.

Beyond emotional dependence, Sanzu often constructs his identity based on the figure to whom he submits or admires. Sanzu is also a drug addict; he holds the second position at Bonten, serving as Manjiro Sano's right-hand man. Sanzu is responsible for killing those who betray Manjiro, homicide in general, drug and weapons distribution, manipulation, psychological pressure, violence in general, illegal black market sales, prostitution, and various other crimes.
