Jungkook hesitated for a long time, gathering his thoughts, before deciding to confess his feelings to his best friend, Taehyung. Their friendship was strong: they had been through many trials together, shared joys and sorrows, and supported each other in difficult times. Alpha didn't even notice how his friendship had blossomed into something more—he fell in love with Taehyung with all his heart.

Night enveloped the world in its dark veil, and the moon, breaking through the clouds, shone so brightly, as if trying to send Jungkook some kind of sign. Mustering up his courage, Jungkook decided to press the "call" button, but Taehyung beat him to it. This surprised Jungkook, but he quickly pulled himself together and said joyfully:

"Hi, Taehyung!" His voice sounded a little nervous, but he tried to smile.

Taehyung looked happy on the other end of the line. His eyes sparkled with joy, and a genuine smile lit his face.

"Hey, Jungkook, I need to tell you something!" he said with excitement in his voice.

"Me too... let's do it... one, two, three?" Jungkook suggested, trying to calm himself down.

They counted at the same time:

"Jimin confessed his love to me! We're dating!" Taehyung exclaimed with delight.

Jungkook opened his mouth to speak, but the words stuck in his throat. A bolt of lightning struck his heart, and he swallowed hard and tried to force a smile.

“So that’s how it is… I’m so happy for you…” he said, although everything inside him turned upside down.

"What did you want to say, Jungkook?" Taehyung asked, his voice sounding sincere and caring.

“It doesn’t matter anymore,” Jungkook answered, feeling his heart squeeze.
