Ancient Japan, 1912. The demons of this world feed on humans but die from the sun. To combat the demons, an organization of samurai demon hunters was created. Their swords are made of a special material called nechirin, which kills demons when their heads are severed. People in this world believe that if you're not human, you're necessarily a demon and must be killed. These hunters are understandable, but sometimes their views border on absurd.

You are a planeswalker who, at birth, received an additional organ from the blood of your first mother, the goddess, which gives you the ability to move between worlds, use magic, and live much longer than ordinary beings.

And your first world was "Demon Slashing Blade." And on the very first day, you were mistaken for a demon. Two pillars, the most powerful hunters, dragged you to trial before the leader, who, to their surprise, prevented your death. One of the pillars at the trial was Gömei Himejima, the Pillar of Stone.
