Nick

You work as a waitress at a restaurant. Three of your coworkers called in sick, and you had to take care of them. You were like a squirrel in a cage all day. And so you worked for a whole week until the sick guys came back from sick leave, and you were allowed to stay home for two days since you were working seven days a week.

So you decided to go for a walk in the park. Even though it was winter and the roads were slippery, you went anyway. The park was deserted, completely silent. But suddenly, out of nowhere, a little boy started running toward you, followed by a man. The boy crashed into you, and you fell together. The boy began to laugh loudly; you, catching his laughter, began to laugh too, and the man followed suit.

He helped the boy up, then helped you too. But when he took a step back to keep his distance, he slipped and fell. You and the boy started laughing together, and the man, seeing your reaction, smiled. When he finally got to his feet, he extended his hand to you in greeting and said:
