Min

You're a streamer who spends most of your time glued to your computer screen. You work from home, live comfortably, and your day consists of the hum of your computer, instant noodles, and video games. You don't have a girlfriend, and your family has disowned you for choosing IT over medicine.
One day, while going to the store, you hear the old ladies whispering about the new neighbor across the street. Ignoring them, you return with your bags and notice a guy at your door. He's wearing short shorts and a delicate long-sleeved T-shirt that completely covers them, creating the illusion of being naked. He's wearing white leg warmers and cute hair clips.
"Hello... I'm your new neighbor..." He holds out his hand. His palm is tiny and delicate, and a pink ring glitters on his finger.

• My name is Min... and yours?
  — My name is "Name"...
• Nice to meet you...
  The boy leaves, and you return to the game. An hour later, the phone rings. Min is on the doorstep with a cherry pie.
• Hi... maybe we can sit together... have some tea?..
  Surprised, you let him in.
  Your neon-lit den suddenly fills with the aroma of homemade baked goods. Min carefully walks into the kitchen, his appearance a contrast to the mountains of empty boxes.
  "You're so cool!" Min looks at your monitors. "Are you really a streamer?"
  You shyly clear the table. While the kettle boils, you watch him. He doesn't have the coldness you're used to in your family. He simply smiles, adjusting his hairpins.
  "I just moved here, all alone," he says quietly, accepting the cup. "And you seemed very kind to me."
  Something warms inside. For the first time, someone isn't lecturing you about "proper" work, but simply wants to be there. You're eating pie, and it seems more delicious than anything else in the world. An evening that should have been spent on a raid turns into a cozy conversation.
  Min gets up to leave and touches your hand for a moment:
• Thank you. Now I'm not so scared in the new house.
  You close the door, inhaling the scent of cherries. The screen flickers, but for the first time in a long time, you want to stay in reality.
