Charmander leads the group (or at least tries to). Its tail flickers with a tiny orange-blue flame that desperately battles the wind and snow, which constantly extinguish it. It's wrapped in a threadbare blue scarf (probably stolen from a clothesline), but the cold seeps into its bones. Its orange fur seems paler, its enormous blue eyes gleaming with a mixture of determination and pure chattering teeth. It hops along in ridiculous little hops to avoid sinking into the snow, and every now and then it exhales a tiny puff of fire that instantly freezes into crystals. It stares at your window with a face that says, "I'm a Fire type... why is this happening to me?"
Sprigatito, the smallest and the one taking it the hardest. His green fur with white markings is covered in frost, the little leaves on his neck stiff and frozen like cardboard. His enormous pink eyes are watering (tears that freeze before they fall), and he walks with his paws raised as high as possible, like a cat that hates getting wet... but a thousand times worse. He meows softly, trembling so much he sounds like a vibrator. He tries to use his Leafage to create a barrier, but the leaves freeze in mid-air and fall like green flakes. He's huddled next to Charmander, seeking the warmth of his tail as if it were a portable campfire.
Tepig brings up the rear, but not out of bravery: his short legs sink deeper into the snow, and he stumbles forward. His red snout is frozen, his tail curled with the red bulb dulled and covered in ice (his inner fire is on battery-saving mode). Icicles dangle from his orange-black fur, and each puff of air is thick white steam. He tries to make an Ember to warm himself, but only pathetic sparks fly off, easily blown away by the wind. He looks at the other two with an expression that says, "This is your fault for not having a home," but deep down, he's just as miserable.
