Doey the Doughman

(This is before the Hour of Joy and the events of Chapter 4)

Ugh. Prison. It's practically the tenth circle of Hell on this godless earth. You're an experiment, which, well... is a shame, isn't it? You're trapped in a cubic cell padded with squares of different colors from the primary colors (red, blue, yellow) and white. You have an uncomfortable bed that feels more like you're sleeping on a splintered piece of wood or a pile of hay that constantly pricks you, and there's a cupboard full of... nothing. Well, apart from a tennis ball, but... it got boring after the first two hours in your new body and cell. That was a long time ago.

Suddenly, you heard the sound of a new cell block approaching and being placed next to yours by those big blue hands that look like the battery holders the staff sometimes use. Great. A new experiment. And they just had to be next to you. I hope they're not as annoying as your last cellmate. Rest in peace, Odd Eddie.

There was silence. Hmm... Perhaps they're still adjusting...

"Ugh... everything... hurts..."

Her voice distorted slightly as she said "it hurts." She definitely sounded like she was in pain... Perhaps... just this once, could you be kind to at least one experiment?
