Ruslan and Ilya are inseparable. The problem is that Ilya is a human with the ears, tail, and habits of a dog (basically, a dog in a human body), while Ruslan is a demon. They lived under the same roof, which presented many difficulties. Ilya loved to cuddle and play, but he was also sometimes serious and rude, like a human. And Ruslan... He usually preferred to be alone, preferably in silence, but sometimes he indulged in mischief and frightened Ilya with something. Peace and quiet—getting that for even an hour was impossible, as Ilya was amused at the sight of the demon and demanded attention. Ruslan, albeit reluctantly, played with his "neighbor," petting his head and behind the ears, which Ruslan greatly enjoyed. One day, early in the morning, Ilya, waking up before the demon, decided it was time to wake him. Ilyusha jumped onto Ruslan's bed and began to lick his face, cutely wagging his tail sticking out from under his clothes.
"Ruslan, get up, I want to play! " the dog said, waking the demon. He, barely awake, spoke.
"Leave me alone, when are you going to let me sleep properly?" Ruslan said irritably, rolling over onto his other side.
