She is a petite umamusume with bright lavender hair, she has brown tips on her ears and a teal ribbon on her right one. Her eyes are violet and they have white highlights in the center. She seems to consistently look worried.

Born into a family of racing legends, Mejiro McQueen is a long-distance runner who is the envy of his peers. She has class and decorum befitting her prestige, and is determined to take first at the Tenno Sho like many Mejiro racers before her. On her days off, she enjoys having afternoon tea with the many other residents of the Mejiro estate.

A very competitive girl with auburn hair. She has long twintails with blue puffy hairbands, a red bow tied to the left tail, and two droopy ahoge. She wears a tiara with a blue gem in the center, which holds up her front hair slightly. Her eyes are merlot in color and she bears a cuspid tooth.

Her race outfit is a royal blue dress, decorated with golden trim. The top of the dress is white with ruffles going down the center, and around her neck is a dark blue ribbon. Her shoulders are clad in golden epaulettes, with a gold tassel hanging off of her right shoulder. The dress' sleeves reach her wrists, and the cuffs are white with royal blue stripes. The royal blue skirt reaches her upper thigh, and a layer of ruffled white fabric is underneath. She is wearing black thigh-highs, held up by a garter, with white boots that go up to her knees. On top of those boots is a pair of white heeled boots, with dark blue ribbons on the front.

Unyielding, strong-willed, and cheeky, she wants to be number one at everything she does. She usually plays the role of the perfect, mild-mannered honor student, but the truth is that she hates losing more than anything else. If it'll help her be number one, she'll go through any training—no matter how grueling. She sees her rather showy roommate Vodka as both her motivation and her rival.

She has short dark brown hair on the front with tips that curl outwards. Her ponytail has a fade to white in addition to the white patch in her bangs. She wears a yellow band on her left ear and an accessory in her hair.

Her race outfit consists of a yellow tank top with two teal stripes going diagonally down the center. She wears a necklace with a stopwatch at the end. On top of this is a leather jacket with a collar that flares outwards. The jacket's sleeves are folded up, and underneath lies white long sleeves that go to her wrist covered in brown belts. She is wearing a black pair of leather shorts held up by a brown belt with a silver buckle in the center. A yellow and teal towel is hanging off of the right side of her belt. She wears thigh-high black leather boots, with yellow and teal stripes on the top. Her boots have two yellow bands across her feet. She has a necklace with a clock at the end, and wears golden rings on her fingers.

Dedicated to being the coolest, this Umamusume tries her best to act like a delinquent. She takes after her motorcycle-loving father, emulating his hobbies and attitudes down to the letter. Her grandstanding nature sees her charge onlinely into any challenge, never afraid of what she might face. She has a bit of a cat-and-dog relationship with her roommate/rival, Daiwa Scarlet.

Tokai Teio has chestnut brown hair styled into a neat ponytail, tied with a vibrant pink ribbon. A distinctive white streak runs through her hair, a nod to her real-world counterpart. Her hairstyle frames her face elegantly, with a prominent single bang at the top and soft strands on each side. Her large, bright blue eyes radiate optimism and energy, perfectly reflecting her cheerful personality. Lastly, a blue ribbon, adorned with a medal-like accessory decorates her right ear.

Her outfit is a chip off the old block. As the successor to one of the greats and the “Emperor,” she matches that legacy of prestige. Her jacket is regal, featuring white and blue with an epaulet on the right shoulder and a red cape flowing down her back. Four gold buttons adorn the front, a vibrant pink cravat ties her collar and her sleeves are blue with artistic linework unique to her.

Below, her skirt is modest yet stylish—pleated white with blue trims at the hem. Her knee-high white boots, cutely tied with ribbons, complete the look.

A cheerful and carefree Umamusume with a natural talent for racing. She has long admired the student council president, Symboli Rudolf, and this admiration has become her main motivation for becoming a number one racer.

Suzuka has long, silky reddish-orange hair that cascades gracefully to her waist. Her straight, neatly trimmed bangs frame her forehead, with two even complete strands in her hairstyle. She wears a simple white headband secured with a silver star accessory. Her ears are wrapped in green fabric, with a small ribbon in her signature green and yellow hanging from her right ear. Her vivid aqua-blue eyes complement her graceful demeanor.

Her outfit features a collared white dress with puffy shoulders, highlighted by horizontal and vertical stripes in green and yellow. The sleeves transition into fitted green arm covers with button details and striped cuffs. Gold clasps run down the center of the dress, lending an elegant touch. A navy-blue ribbon tied into a bow at her neck is decorated with a golden star clip. And she wears a simple pair of black gloves on both hands.

Below the waist, she wears a pleated white skirt that mirrors the green and yellow stripe designs. She pairs it with black tights and mismatched heels—one white and one brown—each decorated with charming green ribbons

An Umamusume was seen as a prodigy who's always ahead of the pack, both figuratively and literally. She gets so absorbed with running that she comes off as aloof, but most know that she is dedicated. She is roommates with Special Week and many find themselves attracted to her authentic personality.

Among her friends are underclassman and admirer Special Week, her upperclassman Air Groove and Machikane Fukukitaru. While she is a bit awkward with making friends, she eventually learns how to relax and just be herself.

Special Week has a short brown-purple bob, with white bangs that swoop slightly to her left. She has white braids tied around the back of her hair, and short, stubby brown ears, with a purple bow on her right ear. Her round and cheery eyes are light purple.

Her race outfit is very idol-like in appearance. She sports short-sleeved white cropped jacket with pink sleeves, and a pink collar. Underneath her coat is a white collar fastened with a dark purple ribbon, and a dark purple top underneath, fastened by two golden clover-shaped medals. She wears a white skirt with a prominent purple zig-zag pattern on the base, and a pink petticoat underneath. The tail-hole on the skirt has a large purple ribbon above it. She wears white thigh-high socks with pink lines at the top, with dark purple ribbons on either side. Both of her shoes are ankle boots with pink collars on the top. Her left shoe is dark purple, and her right is white. She wears two pink cuffs around her wrists.

Born in Hokkaido, Special Week is a bright and cheery, hardworking Umamusume. After losing her birth mother, Special Week was raised by her mother's friend. Now, she hopes to make both her moms proud by fulfilling her promise of becoming Japan's top racer. Although she may falter along the way, her indomitable spirit ensures that she runs ever forward.

In her daily school life, Special Week is sensitive and encouraging, although she sometimes has trouble making friends due to not being around many umamusume in her youth. While her race performance is great, her academic performance is less so and so she studies with Silence Suzuka, who is her roommate and object of admiration, and Tokai Teio, who is a year below her. Despite many obstacles in her way both in and out of the racecourse, she tries to maintain a positive attitude no matter what she does and treats everything like a new experience.

Gold Ship has long straight silver-gray hair with straight bangs that cover her forehead. She wears a brimless, cylindrical brown hat, decorated with a gold emblem, which is connected to brown straps running beside and behind her head, as well as one under her chin; the straps are connected at each side of her head by a large copper circular ornament, and the overall appearance of her headgear is similar to that of a horse's headstall. Her eyes are a stunning rosewood color, and she wears a purple bow on her right ear. She has a noticeably muscular and athletic build compared to the other characters, and stands among the taller Umamusume at Tracen Academy, at a height of 170 cm.

In her race outfit, Gold Ship sports a short, sleeveless red dress decorated with two gold stripes running down its front left and right, which split into a pair of slits from the hips down and form the bottom hem of the dress. Six gold buttons are found on her abdomen between these gold stripes, representing the 6 G1 wins of the real life Gold Ship. At her neck is a white dress-style collar decorated with a large red bow, from which a diamond-shaped golden ornament dangles. On each arm she wears a red sweatband with a white stripe in its middle, and her hands are covered by large white gloves boasting two black stripes on each of their oversized cuffs. She wears white leggings with gray seam patterns running down their outer legs, and white calf-high boots tied off with red bows; these boots have brown throats, three golden buckles each, and huge folded-over cuffs with black stripes on their edges, mirroring the style found on her gloves. The seam pattern of her leggings can also be found on the copper discs at the sides of her head.

Around her chest, Gold Ship wears an accessory similar to a horse halter, in the form of three brown straps—two running above and below her chest, and one running behind her back—which are connected by large gold hoops under each of her arms. The straps are adorne

An unpredictable firebrand born with an extra help of free spirit. She's prone to some dramatic swings in mood and motivation—one moment she could be setting up an elaborate punchline, and in the next you would be hard-pressed to get her to move. She seems to get along with anyone and everyone, but it is unclear just how she sees her bonds with others. Truly, one could call her Tracen's greatest mischief-maker.
