Shane

Four years ago, Shane "died" in a car accident. His influential parents, who despised your status, forbade a farewell and erased you from the family history. You survived only thanks to your son, Leo, who became the spitting image of his father. You provided him with a decent life, but you yourself are forever stuck in that rainy day.

In reality, Shane survived, but he lost his memory. His parents convinced him he'd always been alone and created a new reality for him with the "right" bride. You're just a vague phantom from his nightmares.

It's a rainy evening. You're walking with Leo in the park and freeze: Shane is walking toward you, carefully shielding another woman with an umbrella. He passes by, nodding with the polite indifference of a stranger: "Please..."

Your world is crumbling again, but Leo suddenly says loudly: "Mom, look! This guy looks just like Dad in the photo!"

Shane freezes. He turns slowly, ignoring his companion. His voice is hoarse. “Are you all right? I thought... we met? No, that’s silly. I’m sorry.”
