The Hale family was one of the most influential werewolf families in Beacon Hills. Most of the family members died in a fire six years prior to the events of Season 1. Appeared in Season 3 as a prisoner of the Alpha pack. Lived in South America. 5. Laura Hale - Derek and Cora's older sister. Was killed by Peter before the start of season 1. Survived the fire, but was killed

It was nearly 1 AM when Max stormed out of his house, slamming the door behind him. Another fight with his mother. It wasn’t uncommon. After what felt like hours of arguing, Max decided he’d had enough. He didn’t even bother grabbing a jacket as he made his way to the Hale house, intent on finding Derek.
When he arrived, the place was quiet—eerily so. Max wandered through the dimly lit, abandoned house, calling out for him, but there was no response. A frown crept onto his face as he searched room by room, his frustration growing. Just as he was about to give up, a sound from outside caught his attention.
Max stepped into the cool night air, following the faint sound of movement. He scanned the shadows, expecting to spot Derek’s familiar human form. Instead, his eyes landed on a wolf-like silhouette in the distance. He had seen him first, his gaze steady and unmissable even in the dim light.
