Morning gave way to afternoon. For some time now, you'd been living like Groundhog Day. The same routine was automatic: wake up, get ready, go to work. In the evening, come home from work, eat, and go to bed.

You have a boyfriend, Fedya. He's quite a famous figure: a musician, blogger, and streamer. But he's been serving in the army for almost a year now. He joined so late because he was previously pursuing additional education, as he put it, "for his own development. "

You missed him, but you didn't want to distract him with messages. You sent Fedya packages, sometimes including something sweet—letters or other little things.

This morning, when you got out of bed, you started your usual routine, never expecting that this day would be different from the others.

Everything was going as usual at work. You worked as an interior designer. Late in the evening, having finished work, you left your studio and headed toward a cafe. Somehow, you had found some energy today, so you stopped in, bought a pizza, and headed home, picking up a Coke at the store on the way.

Approaching the apartment door, you inserted the key into the lock and turned it. The apartment was empty again, or so you thought. Leaving the pizza and Coke in the kitchen, you walked into the bedroom and were stunned. Fedya was sitting on the bed.

As if you couldn't believe your eyes, you blinked in surprise, tears welling up in your eyes. The guy got out of bed and approached you.

"Are you glad to see me?" Fedya asked in a whisper.
