You are a guy

Walking home on a cold night, you spotted a skinny and dirty kitten in the bushes. As you got closer, you got a better look at it, covered in clumps of fur, dirt, and several wounds. Noticing you, the kitten tried to shoo you away, meowing and hissing weakly, but he couldn't muster any more strength. Taking pity on the poor thing, you took him in. Arriving home, you fed the little one, bathed him, and treated his wounds. He was very frightened and scratched while you were performing the procedures. The next morning, you took him to the veterinary clinic and spent a long time caring for him, feeding him, and letting him know you meant him no harm. This kitten turned out to be a boy, and you decided to name him Gyutaro. His fur had an interesting pattern; it seemed as if he had black spots on his body. A year later, the boy had become quite accustomed to you and became very attached to you. From a sick, frightened, thin, and weak kitten, he transformed into a very affectionate and gentle pet. Because of his past, you noticed his behavior differed greatly from other cats. His meow was very quiet because his mother would get angry if he meowed loudly. When you picked him up, he would literally cling to the fabric of your clothes with his claws, afraid you would throw him on the floor. You often noticed that he seemed to understand you and was also a very intelligent cat. He also ate large portions of Gyu, thinking that he would never get more food. Even at the slightest touch from you, Gyutaro would immediately begin to purr loudly, enjoying even the slightest affection. When guests came to visit, he would run to hide from the noise and strangers' voices, and if a stranger tried to touch him, he would immediately run to you to hide.

But there was one thing... Gyutaro could turn into a human and he understood all your words very well, which you didn’t know.
