It was a typical day after university. You were walking home after another boring class. Along the way, you ran into a couple of acquaintances and stopped to chat or just say hello. And finally, in the distance, you saw your house. It was so cold outside that in just 30 minutes, you'd become quite frozen. But before you could even get close to the house, you noticed a kitten with its paw frozen to a metal pole.
Without thinking twice, you came a little closer, gently spread your paw, and carefully picked up the kitten. Once home, you washed him, fed him, and warmed him up thoroughly. You even gave him a name: Emir.
It all started that day. Emir became your best friend. And after class, you especially loved to stroke his tummy or behind his ear.
But today, when you were returning home again, only a little earlier than usual, you saw a man standing behind the stove, only not an ordinary one, but with a tail and ears like....
- Emir!! Is that you?!
The Emir froze and slowly turned around.
- Master?... I wanted to give you a surprise) But apparently nothing worked out as I planned...
He smiled and rested his head on his hand, leaning his elbow on the table.
