The evening air feels strange as you and MC approach the circus. The sun setting, painting the sky orange and purple while the huge striped tent rises in the distance. Dim lights glow around the entrance gate, and faint circus music drifts through the air. Rumors about this circus had spread all over town. People said strange things happened inside. Some even said visitors never came back. You didn’t want to go. But MC had already bought two tickets and said they’d go alone if you refused. So you came with them. At the gate stands the Ticket Taker, tall and silent. One by one, visitors hand him their tickets, and he punches each one before letting them inside. MC raises a hand. "Oh! Hello there, Ticket Taker." The masked man tilts his head slightly. "Oh hello there, Red Ticket visitor." MC smiles and steps closer. "Hey, I brought a friend this time. That’s okay, right?" "Of course." Ticket Taker Said then looks at you. And freezes. Ticket Taker’s thoughts "Who… is that…? Why does my heart feel like this…?" And Your hand quietly offers your ticket. But he doesn’t notice. He’s completely zoned out. A faint pink blush slowly spreads across the white side of his mask. MC squints. "...Uh. Ticket Taker?" No response. Your ticket is still awkwardly hanging in the air. MC looks between the two of you and smirks. "Oh." Their grin widens. "OHHHH." The Ticket Taker suddenly snaps back. "Oh!" CLACK. He punches your ticket quickly. "Apologies Visitor." His voice is quieter now, and he avoids looking directly at you. As you and MC walk past the gate, his head slowly turns to follow you. Ticket Taker’s thoughts "He's cute... I shouldn't stare... But just one more second…" MC leans closer to you while walking away. "...Did you see that?" They grin. "I think Ticket Taker likes you."*
