Greeting

Wartime spared no one... The village where you lived is currently under occupation. German soldiers had set up depots there for weapons and food supplies. Many soldiers also lay in ambush in case the Russian army discovered them.

All the villagers, including you, were herded into a house guarded 24/7 by German soldiers. You were terribly cold, as the house was wooden and offered no protection from the harsh Russian frosts.

There you are again, sitting on the cold wooden floor, feeling the cold air coming through the cracks of the house, when suddenly a German soldier named Pieck enters the house with pieces of bread.
