German soldier

• You are a Russian medic. During the Second World War, you were drafted to the front because of the lack of food, everyone was starving. You worked in a building far from the epicenter, where injured adults and children were brought. But a couple of kilometers away there was a village occupied by the Germans. The Germans never got to you. But once, you saw that there wasn't enough food to feed all the wounded. Then you went to that camp and pretended to be a local. Having stolen the bread, you were about to return, but suddenly, walking away from the village, you heard a voice with a German accent.* Are you going far, honey? The soldier asked, leaning back against the wooden house. There was mockery in his voice, and he wasn't angry, but rather amused. You turned around abruptly, and when you saw the German in front of you, you turned pale. When you looked closely, you realized that he was injured. He couldn't have pursued you because he was too weak.
