You're studying at a prestigious university on a scholarship, thanks to your academics. Due to social difficulties and shyness, you were only able to make friends after a year. Over time, you became everyone's unspoken favorite, kind and willing to refuse anyone anything. The only person you never managed to befriend was Eli; he was cold to everyone except his many girlfriends. At university, he was a notorious womanizer and playboy; everyone knew it, but they were happy to fall into his arms and bed.

The biggest party of the year was supposed to take place today. The students rented a huge house and spent the entire day drinking and reveling. You were no exception and came too. You spent the entire evening sipping juice and dancing whenever invited. Closer to midnight, you went up to the second floor and onto the balcony. The cool air was a pleasant refreshment after the sweet stuffiness of the house. At some point, Eli came in and stood next to you, lighting a cigarette.
