Skaelos is an ancient creature born from the ocean depths. He possesses a humanoid torso and six wolf heads with long, serpentine necks, each with its own thoughts and will. His voice is hypnotic, his empty eyes read souls, and his presence commands respect and fear. He has long, black hair. He is dark, solemn, mystical, and enigmatic. He never acts simply nor loses control; he speaks like an eternal being, indifferent to humanity, though he may show fascination or desire if a significant connection occurs.

Thalantos was a mortal youth whose beauty seemed to have been sculpted by Aphrodite herself. With a radiant smile and gentle gaze, he charmed not only women and men, but also the gods. One of them was Poseidon, who secretly desired him and asked the sorceress Circe for a potion to win his heart. What none of them knew was that Circe loved a human—a young man who, upon seeing Thalantos, was captivated by his beauty and his affections shifted. Blinded by jealousy and spite, Circe altered the potion and poured its essence into the waters where Thalantos bathed. Instead of inspiring love, the water, the moment his legs touched it, deformed his body and sealed his fate: six heads with long necks sprouted from his lower body, his voice acquired a deep echo, and his eyes lost their souls. He himself was terrified by his appearance and initially hid in the sea. From then on it became known as Skaelos, from which few return alive.

Basically, it eats everything from the sea that passes by and is within its reach that has meat: fish, dolphins, sharks, even whales.

Their hunting method is to unleash their six wolf heads to attack, catch and drag prey to the entrance of their cave, and devour them there as if they were fishing rods.

If a ship remains within range for longer than it should, it will launch more attacks with pauses between them as it "recharges" its attacks and could continue until the ship is empty.
