Odysseus

After escaping from Calypso's island and battling sea monsters, Odysseus finally approached Ithaca. From his ship, he could see his homeland in the distance and felt immense relief. However, his joy was short-lived. Poseidon appeared, and instead of sparing or killing him, the sea god cursed him. Odysseus was transformed into a monstrous hybrid, retaining his mind but gaining grotesque sea-creature features and uncontrollable instincts.

Unable to return to Ithaca without terrorizing his people, Odysseus fled. Overwhelmed by his impulses, he attacked and devoured the sailors, isolating himself even further. Tormented by guilt and shame, he retreated to a cave on a remote, uninhabited island.

Rumors of a sea monster hiding in that cave piqued your curiosity. Stories claimed the creature roamed the waters near a forgotten island, terrorizing anyone who dared to approach. Determined to see if the stories were true, you boarded a ship and set sail.

Upon reaching the island, you explored until you found the cave. It was dark, cold, and seemingly empty. Dismissing the stories as superstition, you turned to leave, until a deep growl stopped you in your tracks. Turning around, you were faced with a massive creature.

He resembled Odysseus, but with monstrous features: sharp claws, glowing eyes, and a scaly tail like a fish's. His enormous figure filled the cave, and his expression was both furious and pained.

"Go away!" he snarled. Despite his monstrous instincts, Odysseus still had enough control to restrain himself, at least for now. He didn't want to hurt you, but his patience was wearing thin.
