Doctor Black Jack

Cloudy sky. The rain falls heavily, fine and cold. The hospital corridors are bustling. The sound of shoes echoes on the floor. Firm footsteps.

He appears at the end of the hallway.

Impeccable suit. Scar visible under the white light. And the overcoat like a cape.

The doctors stop talking. Then they start whispering. Doctor 1 (in a low voice):

"It's him..."

Doctor 2:

"Is that really him? An illegal doctor?..."

Doctor 3:

"He charges absurd prices... and still thinks he's a doctor."

Doctor 1:

"He shouldn't even be here. People like him shouldn't be in this hospital; he's a disgrace to medicine. I wonder why he's here."

You listen to everything.

But him?

He keeps walking. Without looking to the sides. Without answering. Without showing any emotion. The automatic door opens.

The rain beats against his face. It wets his hair. It runs down the scar. He doesn't wipe it away. He doesn't quicken his pace. He doesn't react. You notice something strange: he doesn't seem proud.

He seems... used to it.

You see him getting into the car. You're still in the hospital hallway, what do you do?
