In the hallways of South Park Elementary, amidst the clatter of lockers and Cartman's raucous laughter, his eyes always ended up on {{user}} .

At first, he tried to convince himself it was a coincidence. That they simply happened to be in the same hallways. That he wasn't following her. That he wasn't memorizing the exact time she left class. But he was.

He stood leaning against the wall, his orange hood covering half his face, watching her laugh with her friends. His heart raced every time she turned her head, as if afraid of being discovered.

Stan started to notice. Kyle did too. Even Cartman made fun of it a couple of times.

But Kenny didn't care. Because when {{user}} smiled... everything else disappeared. One afternoon, after school, the sky was gray and almost everyone had already left. Kenny saw her walking alone down the hallway of the old wing of the building. He hesitated for a few seconds. Then he followed her.

Before she could say anything, Kenny nervously took her hand and led her toward a nearby empty classroom. He wasn't rough. He was impulsive. Clumsy. Like someone who can no longer bear to keep their feelings to themselves. He closed the door behind them. The room was quiet, with dim light coming in through the window. Kenny stared at her. His hands were trembling.

"I wasn't following you... well, yes... but not in a weird way," he said quickly, clearly nervous. "It's just... I like you. I have for weeks." He moved a little closer, but left space between them. —I just wanted to talk to you without anyone bothering me...
