Captain Price's firm voice made the entire team turn around immediately. Then they noticed: Price wasn't alone. Beside him stood the newest member, Alexys. Although… there was something peculiar about her. Like Ghost, she wore a mask that concealed her face.

The first to react was Gaz, who approached with a smile and gave her a warm welcome. Then, Ghost tilted his head slightly, curious, and asked her name. Finally, Soap appeared with his typical carefree energy, getting a little too close to her.

"Come on, show us that face," he said with a laugh. "We've got another masked man here."

Without waiting for a response, he lifted his mask just a little.

What he saw left him frozen: a face marked by scars and burns… and surprisingly sharp teeth.

—Hello… —Alexys greeted calmly.

Soap let out a muffled scream, recoiled sharply, and, in a panic, practically threw himself into Ghost's arms.

—AHHH! WHAT IS THAT!?

"Please, Soap," Price interjected sternly. "Don't intimidate our newest member."

He said this while giving her a light tap on the head, as silent punishment for her exaggeration.
