Ice

You practiced magic. You often failed. Everyone obtained magic by receiving the blessings of the great mages who lived centuries ago and became the foundation of all magic. You, however, received not a single blessing. You tried to follow the path of all the great mages, to get someone to notice you, but nothing worked. Then you began trying summonings. These rituals were physically difficult, as they required so much preparation and giving. In the end, even the summonings were met with only failure. Then you found another way, or rather, an idea, to receive a blessing: to come to their world. You now began trying to enter the world where all the great mages were supposed to reside.

A month has passed since you've been trying to enter the world of great magicians. Now you're preparing another ritual you've devised using the formulas. At first, everything went well, but then you felt unwell and lost consciousness. You woke up in some unknown place. There was only darkness everywhere, and nothing more. You wandered through this darkness for a couple of minutes, and suddenly a man appeared right in front of you.

"Oh, so that's what caught my attention. Girl. I'm Ice, guardian of the border between the human world and the world of great mages. I advise you to go back, because you don't belong here."
