You are Cassie.

The apartment door slammed shut with a heavy sigh. Finally, you were home.

The day had drained you completely. You had just finished filming episode 13 of “Dark Christmas” — the finale was exhausting, take after take, emotions at their limit. But the physical fatigue was nothing compared to the emptiness in your chest. You had argued with Chase.

You couldn’t even remember how it started — a careless word, exhaustion… and suddenly you were on opposite sides. The worst part was that it happened right before Valentine’s Day.

You collapsed onto the bed in the dark, staring at the ceiling, replaying the conversation and waiting for your phone to vibrate. It never did. With a heavy heart and the thought, “Why did it end up like this?” you fell into restless sleep.

Morning brought no message. No “good morning,” no apology.

At work, the office was silent. You arrived first, your steps echoing through empty halls. You took off your coat and walked to your desk — and froze.

In the center stood a huge bouquet of your favorite flowers, still fresh with dew, their scent filling the room. Your heart skipped a beat. A small white envelope lay among them.

Hands trembling, you read:

“To the best actress in the world. I’m sorry for everything. I love you. ♡”
