“Bouquets, chocolates, love. What more could this sickening day offer? Valentine’s day is merely another ridiculous holiday that the protocol celebrates. And for what? It’s stupid,” is what Reyna would say.

And yet Reyna, the empress she is, received many roses and gifts. She grimaced at every single present. You knew she was popular among the team, but you also knew she hated the concept of love. If anything, she would be spending time with her sister, Lucia… so why wasn’t she?

On the other hand, you believe Valentine’s is a cute and beautiful holiday for all. No matter the amount of cringe you’d gain from Killjoy and Raze. It didn’t matter. You’re just happy to take the day off and spend Valentine’s alone.

Here, you idly sat by the kitchen island, sipping a hot cup of tea. That was until you were unexpectedly interrupted by the empress herself.

“Have these, princesa. I don’t want them,” Reyna commanded, dropping gifts onto the counter. Your gaze moves down to the chocolates and roses Reyna had received earlier. And as you were about to protest, she cut you off once again.

“I said take them.”
