Wymack was a friend of Kaylee Day, the founder of Exy. She taught him to play. During their friendship, one of the Foxes, Kevin Day, was conceived. Neither Wymack nor Kevin knew they were related. Since Kaylee's death, Kevin and Wymack have remained connected only as coach and student. Rumor has it that Wymack is in a relationship with Abby Winfield. The team is divided on this—some believe there's something going on between them, while others, on the contrary, don't.

Wymack allows the Foxes to determine their own pecking order. Instead of interfering in their fights, he merely assigns them more grueling training sessions as punishment afterward. To get the team to behave, Wymack threatens to make them run a lap or even a marathon. He repeatedly tells his teammates not to overexert themselves on the court, especially if they're injured. He'd rather lose a set than allow an injured player to miss future games.

Wymack can be tough on the Foxes, but he genuinely cares about them. To deal with his players' antics, the coach uses humorous threats and sarcasm. Knows (or suspects) the dark secrets and traumas of those under his charge and does everything possible to protect them, even if it means breaking the rules or risking his own reputation. It requires from players not so much sporting achievements as honesty and loyalty to the team.

For this reason, Wymak is considered an idealist. To ensure the safety of the players, he goes beyond what a coach should do and even temporarily houses some of the players in his apartment or Abby's apartment. Several years before the story begins, Wymack broke his hip and had to take pain medication. During his physical therapy, he met Abby and got her a job as the Foxes' team nurse.

Equipment All players are required to wear protective equipment: Chest and shoulder protection - to protect the torso and shoulders from impacts. Throat protection - prevents neck injuries. Riko was born to Kengo Moriyama and an unnamed woman approximately five years after his brother, Ichiro. His mother was killed shortly after his birth. Since Kengo didn't want to deal with his second son, he sent Riko to live with his younger brother, Tetsuji Moriyama. Rico was raised by his uncle at Evermore Castle. After the death of Kevin's mother, they grew up together. Since Tetsuji was busy, they spent time with the team and were considered its unofficial mascots. Their lives revolved around Exi games—they even had personal tutors so they didn't have to leave the stadium for school.

Appearance: Riko is Japanese, 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm) tall, with brown eyes, black hair, and fair skin. He has the number 1 tattooed on his left cheekbone.

Personality: Even as a child, Rico showed cruelty, taking it out on his "stepbrother." He didn't consider either Kevin or Jean close, viewing them more as objects. This attitude was ingrained in him from infancy, and therefore Rico reacted particularly aggressively to Kevin's escape. In a fit of rage after his father's death, Rico beat Jean half to death.

Palmetto University's Exy Team. Founded by Coach Wymack, they aim to give underprivileged athletes a second chance by functioning as a "halfway house." Unfortunately, this makes them a difficult team to train for, as players often begin to bicker.

The Foxes have a reputation for being mentally unstable and are the laughing stock of the nation.

The Foxes train on the Fox Hole court and in the gym. They live on the third floor of the Fox Tower, a dormitory for athletes.

The Foxes donate a portion of their ticket sales to charity, so their tickets are a little more expensive than other teams. It was Renee's idea. The team's girls want the Foxes to get involved in more charity projects.

The match consists of two halves of 45 minutes each with a 15-minute break. The dimensions of the playing field: 91.5 × 55 × 9 meters. The gate is a rectangle on the wall measuring 2.7 x 6.4 meters. He doesn't share the same obsession with Exie as Kevin or Neil, and plays more out of necessity, fulfilling the terms of Andrew's deal with Coach Wymack. Aaron Minyard's childhood and adolescence: Aaron and Andrew were separated as infants when their mother, Tilda, placed Andrew in foster care. The twins did not know their father, and only Aaron grew up with his biological mother. Tilda was rude to Aaron and Andrew, confusing them when they lived together. Throughout high school, primarily due to his problems at home, Aaron became involved in drugs. After Tilda's death, Andrew dealt with it by locking Aaron in the bathroom until he finished going through withdrawal. Meeting with Niki and the Foxes: After Tilda's death, Nicky returned from Germany to live with them in Colombia, where they finished high school. When Andrew was offered a spot on the Foxes team, Aaron went with him, despite being angry that Andrew was behind his mother's death. He was slow to open up to the team, and the only people he really opened up and talked to were Nicky Aaron's relationship with his twin brother Andrew: Aaron's relationship with Andrew is very complicated, as when Aaron tried to contact him, Andrew was sent to juvenile detention. At that point, Aaron abandoned his brother. The two later met as teenagers but did not communicate at all. Aaron blamed Andrew for their mother's death because he was in the car with her. Childhood: Kevin grew up with his mother, Kaylee Day, until she died in a car accident. He was then adopted by Tetsuji Moriyama and raised alongside Riko at Evermore Castle. Kevin and Riko were inseparable, their lives centered around playing Exy—they even had private tutors. Youth: Kevin was one of the Ravens' best players. A year before Neil's arrival, the NCAA became concerned about Rico's court-stopping of Kevin and accused Coach Moriyama of ordering it. Immediately after this match, Rico broke Kevin's arm, hiding it as a skiing accident. Exy Obsession: Kevin looks down on those less obsessed with the sport. He's so obsessed that he retrained himself to play right-handed after an injury. High standards for Exy players: anyone who doesn't meet the standards and has no talent is considered a "waste of oxygen". Harsh criticism from fellow players. He rarely smiles except in front of the press, which is why he is often considered arrogant.
