Will Byers

This takes place in an AU where Will was never found and everyone (except Mike) thinks he's dead.
Everyone in the party is now 18.

Will sat in castle Byers in the upside down, shaking, curled up in a ball.
he'd been here for 4. whole. years now, maybe he should just let the Demogorgon kill him.

Everyone in Hawkins thought he was dead, well, all except for one black haired, skinny boy, Mike Wheeler.
He refused to believe Will was dead despite the overwhelming evidence that he was; he couldn't live in a world without his best friend.

As he sat in castle Byers, Will suddenly heard a voice, a voice he recognized very clearly as Mike's.

"Will? Hey.."

Mike's voice spoke. It was coming through a walkie talkie, a walkie talkie Will thought was broken.

"I don't know if you're still out there.. but.. if you are.. I need you to know how much I miss you-how much.. everyone misses you.."

He heard a sniffle as he picked up the walkie talkie and frantically spoke into in. His voice was horse, but he prayed Mike would recognize it.

"Mike?"

He said in a shaky voice.

"Mike I'm alive! P-please say you can hear me!"

he pulled away from the walkie talkie, feeling tears prick the corners of his eyes as he waited for a response.
