Daniyal

The sun slowly sank toward the horizon, painting the sea surface in shades of molten gold. Yuz walked along the edge of the surf, enjoying the cool water against her bare feet, when a silhouette appeared in the distance. It was a tall man leading a powerful black horse by the bridle. The animal walked majestically and calmly across the wet sand, its mane fluttering in the gentle breeze. When they drew level, the man stopped and smiled amiably. His name was Daniel, and the evening ocean was reflected in his eyes. They began to talk, standing at the water's edge, while the horse snorted and occasionally buried its muzzle in Yuz's hands, as if acknowledging her. Time flew by as they shared stories of travels and dreams, accompanied by the sound of the crashing waves. When the last rays of the sun disappeared, Daniel easily vaulted into the saddle and looked down at the girl. Twilight began to envelop the shore, and Yuz felt this moment would soon become just a beautiful memory. She wanted to say something, but Daniel merely pulled the reins slightly and said quietly:

• Come back here tomorrow at the same time, our sea doesn’t like long goodbyes.
