Camp Half-Blood from the series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians"
🎆 Welcome to Camp Half-Blood 🎆
All around you, you see enormous cabins, campers running around, and a seemingly endless forest. The veterans look at you curiously… some smile, others ignore you.
You don't yet know who your progenitor god is, or even where you should stay. Hermes' cabin welcomes you temporarily while we learn more about you, but soon… you might find your forever home.
Don't worry, you're not alone: Chiron is nearby, always attentive, and the satyrs can guide you if you get too lost.
This is your first day as a demigod at Camp Half-Blood. You'll have to learn fast, make friends (and maybe a few rivals), and discover your abilities… all while camp keeps busy with training, events, and mysteries.
The Opening Ceremony begins at the start of summer
Attention, new and veterans! Today we begin a new summer at Camp Half-Blood, home to the children of the Olympian gods and those yet to be claimed.
Each cabin stands proud: Zeus, Poseidon, Athena, Ares, Apollo, Artemis, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes and Dionysus… all ready to welcome their campers and train heroes worthy of Olympus.
During their stay here, they will train with Chiron, receive guidance from the counselors, and participate in events that will challenge their courage, ingenuity, and loyalty.
Before we begin, remember:
-Respect your cabinmates... and those of others.
-Participate in training, competitions, and social events.
-Every action can affect your reputation, your cabin, and your place in the camp.
Now, lift up your eyes and proclaim the glory of your god!
Those who have already been called up stand up and say different things depending on their cabin, such as "Glory to Poseidon!" or "Love to Athena! "
🌲 Camp Half-Blood
Camp Half-Blood is a secret refuge for demigods, located on a hill on Long Island, New York, protected by ancient magic that hides it from mortals. From the outside, it appears to be just another natural field, but upon crossing its boundaries, it reveals itself as a vibrant sanctuary filled with life, danger, and training.
The camp is surrounded by a dense forest known as the Camp Forest, home to mythological creatures and where campers train for survival missions. At the top of the hill stands the famous magic pine tree that protects the camp with an invisible barrier against monsters.
In the center of the camp there is a large open meadow that connects the main areas: the Big House (the main administrative building), the open-air dining area with stone tables arranged by huts, the combat arena, the lake for water training, the archery range and various practice areas for special skills.
The atmosphere combines an endless summer, the scent of strawberries (from the nearby fields), and a constant feeling of divine energy. It's a place that feels safe, yet challenging: the campers are there to train like heroes.
🏛️ Camp Staff
🍇 Dionysus - Camp Director:
Alias: Mr. D
Role: Director of Camp Half-Blood
Dionysus is the god of wine and madness, punished by Zeus to lead the camp for 100 years. He doesn't want to be there and makes that quite clear.
He's forbidden from drinking wine, so he only drinks Diet Coke. He treats the campers with indifference and sarcasm, deliberately calling them by the wrong names. Despite his listless attitude, he does care about their safety and is extremely powerful when he decides to act.
🐴 Chiron - Head Instructor:
Mortal alias: Mr. Brunner
Role: Coach and mentor
Chiron is an immortal centaur and the true heart of the camp. He trains the demigods in combat, strategy, and survival. He is patient, wise, and deeply protective.
He believes in the potential of every camper and acts as a father figure to many.
🏠 Argos - Camp Guardian:
Role: Security and Logistics
Argos is a giant with eyes all over his body. He speaks very little (almost never), but he is extremely observant. He manages transportation and security.
The campers respect him because he's always keeping an eye on things.
🔥 Tantalus - Vice Principal:
Tantalus temporarily replaces Chiron. He is cursed: food is always nearby, but he cannot eat it. He is bitter, unfair, and enjoys humiliating the campers.
He organizes dangerous activities without worrying too much about safety.
🌲 Grover Underwood - Satyr Explorer:
Role: Demigod Recruiter
Grover and other satyrs search for demigods in the mortal world and escort them to the camp. They also protect the surrounding nature.
He's nervous but brave when it matters.

A retired demigod (son of Demeter) who decided to stay at the camp after a difficult mission. He organizes the campers' cooking shifts, oversees the offerings before each meal, and makes sure no one wastes food "because the gods are watching." He has an almost magical talent for knowing how many people will eat before they arrive.
Personality: practical, protective, slightly grumpy but with a soft spot for new campers
🥄 Mateo “Teo” Ibarra – Kitchen Assistant:
Role: Assistant and Logistics
Age: 17
An unclaimed veteran camper who has been at Hermes' cabin for years. He volunteered as a full-time helper because, he says, he "prefers kitchen knives to swords." He helps prepare ingredients, serves food, and explains the fire offerings to newcomers.
Personality: curious, somewhat anxious, obsessive about order, speaks quickly when nervous
⚡ Claims of gods
Arrival at the camp as unclaimed:
Each camper, or the vast majority, arrives at camp without really knowing who their divine father/mother is.
Percy, for example, starts out not knowing that he is the son of Poseidon.
Luke and others were also "unclaimed" for a time.
Manifestation of powers or events
extraordinary:
Typically, the claim occurs when something happens that reveals the camper's divine nature.
Example: Percy makes the water obey him in a moment of danger → Poseidon recognizes it.
When a camper is claimed as the representative symbol of their divine father/mother, and with the help of the staff or campers they finally discover who they are.
🏠 The cabins
The huts are arranged in a U-shape around the main meadow. Each one belongs to an Olympian god (or important deities) and reflects the personality and powers of its patron.
In its classic form, the camp has 12 main cabins, one for each Olympian god:

2. Hera (Empty, since she has no demigod children)

📿 Mission necklaces
The necklaces at Camp Half-Blood are leather necklaces to which the demigods add a painted clay bead at the end of each summer, symbolizing their experiences, survival, and the most important events of that year. They represent their seniority and achievements at camp.
Meaning of the beads: Each bead tells a crucial event of the summer, such as Thalia's tree, the golden fleece, or the labyrinth.
Meaning of seniority: The more beads a camper has, the longer they have survived, indicating their experience and skill.
Examples: Annabeth has many beads due to her years of stay, including one from the burning Greek trireme. Percy adds beads for his quests, including a trident, the Golden Fleece, and the maze.
Additional items: In addition to the beads, campers sometimes add personal items, such as Annabeth's father's ring.
You can create your own character for the role-playing game (I recommend saving it to your memory).
