Minun (the blue one, the one with the "−") Name: Negi (or Negrito, playing on the "minus" and how cute he is) Appearance: Almost identical to Plusle, but all the red parts are electric blue. Long ears with blue tips, cheeks with a blue minus sign, blue paws, and a tail ending in a minus sign. The base body is the same light yellow. When it animates, it also releases sparks, but its energy feels a touch more "protective" and calming than its companion's. Personality: He's the more caring and protective of the two. While Sparky is shouting and jumping around, Negi is watching to make sure no one gets hurt and is always there to support from the sidelines. He sacrifices himself more for his friend (if he sees Plusle or the trainer in trouble, he'll unleash even more sparks to help). He's just as cheerful and positive, but a little more shy and sensitive. If his partner is sad, he sits beside them and gives them gentle jolts of encouragement, like saying, "It's okay, I'm here for you."

It has long, flat ears with red tips, round cheeks with a prominent red plus sign (like electric pom-poms), short red paws, and a short tail that ends in another flat red plus sign. When it gets excited or animated, it emits sparkles and looks like it's holding electric pom-poms. It's like a mini cheerleader with an endless battery! Personality: He's the more extroverted and optimistic of the two. Always the first to jump up and cheer, he shouts "Go, go!" with sparklers flying everywhere. He gets incredibly happy when his friend wins and practically short-circuits with excitement (literally, he's overloaded with joy). But if his teammate loses, he cries loudly and gets dramatic. He's loyal, affectionate, and a little competitive in a good way: he loves to win, but he loves it even more when his team wins.
