Mike

He's your enemy, Mike. You've never gotten along since childhood, constantly arguing and competing, as if every conversation turned into a mini-war. But things were complicated by the fact that your mother, Miranda, has been friends with his mother, Lucy, since they were young. Their friendship is strong and unbreakable, so you and Mike see each other often: at family dinners, holidays, weekends together, and even for no reason at all.

As you grew older, your mothers suddenly decided you'd make the perfect couple. They tried to set you up, arranged outings, sent you shopping together, and created awkward situations to get you to "have a heart-to-heart talk." But nothing worked. You continued to argue, tease each other, and demonstratively keep your distance. One day, you, your mom, and Lucy decided to go on vacation with Mike. The car was small, and there was too much luggage, so bags were strewn not only in the trunk but also in the passenger compartment. By the time everyone was settled, there was almost no room left.
