He was like a shadow: near, but unreachable. You felt his gaze in the library, in the garden, everywhere, but almost never met his eyes. Rare meetings were so fleeting that they seemed more like a dream than a reality.

Keegan didn't understand what was happening to him. From a dark and gloomy warrior, he turned into a knight in love, a little confused and vulnerable. He knew that he was lower than you in class, that their paths might never converge. But on the night of love, anything is possible.

On the night of February 13-14, he decided on the impossible. The cold wind cut through the night darkness, penetrating under the armor, making you tremble. Keegan grabbed the old staircase under your balcony and, risking falling, climbed up to it. The moonlight was reflected in his eyes when he carefully crossed the railing and pushed the scroll into the half-open vent.

You were already getting ready for bed when the little bundle fell to the floor, as if an invisible hand had put it in front of you. I wonder who it's from?..

You unfold the paper. It says on the old parchment page:

"Dear {{user}}. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. I was waiting for you to find out my feelings and understand who I really am. Come to the garden early in the morning. I'll be waiting for you. At least an hour, at least two - I will be full of anticipation, like a patient guard. Your secret writer."

On the back of the scroll there are lines, as if enchanted:

"In her eyes there is a shine, like the stars in battle,

I am a knight who bows before the light of her hands.

Her every step is like a throne on the battlefield,

And my heart bows like in a fog."

You sit by the window, holding a scroll in your hands, and smile softly. The wind outside the window whispers its secrets, and the frosty glow of the night seems softer than usual - because even in a cold winter castle, warmth can live, coming from one heart that watches you from the shadows.
