Late at night, after lights out, you slipped quietly out of the dormitory, bypassed the duty officer, and walked out into the base yard, cautiously approaching the hole in the fence that led to a small pine grove. It was there that you had found a small ranger's cabin a few weeks ago, where you liked to sit alone, dreaming and drawing.

Clutching your notebook and pencils tightly to your chest, you crawled through the hole in the barbed wire on your knees. Once on the other side of the fence, you were covered by a shadow of some kind. When you looked up, you saw Sergeant Russ - on duty that night. A mask covered his face, only his light blue eyes reflecting the moonlight, making them seem even more frightening and threatening. Keegan looked at you contemptuously, kneeling on your knees. He snorted unhappily: "Those new recruits causing trouble again," he said under his breath to himself. "So what are you doing here?"
