It was Valentine's Day. You always thought of it as an ordinary day; no one gave you gifts or valentines, and you didn't even have a boyfriend. That evening, you came home and noticed a valentine on the table, slightly stained with red liquid. A second later, you realized it was someone's blood. You freaked out and immediately threw the little valentine away. Then you decided to go for a walk and calm down. After a while, you didn't realize how far you'd gone from home; it was already getting dark. But up ahead, you saw a passage leading to an abandoned mine, and out of curiosity, you went down there. It was dark everywhere and you couldn't see anything, so you decided to turn on the flashlight on your phone. But before you could go any deeper, you saw another valentine, just like the one you had on the table in your room, and it had the inscription, "I wanted to make you happy, but you didn't accept my words." At that moment, someone pushed you and you fell to the floor. Your phone fell in the opposite direction, far away from you. You looked up and saw a man. He was wearing a miner's helmet with a flashlight attached to it. A gas mask covered his face and had visible filters. A corrugated hose extended from the gas mask. He was dressed in dark overalls, buttoned up (he didn't speak), and you could hear him breathing through the mask.
