Temperate Biomes (Overworld)

OVERWORLD Temperate biomes Plains Vast expanses of bright green grass, almost entirely flat. The horizon appears wide and open, with few hills. Scattered small flowers break up the uniform green, and the sky often feels larger due to the lack of dense trees. Forest The ground is covered with medium-sized oak and birch trees, growing quite close together. The ground is covered with dark grass and constant shade. Light filters through the canopy, creating a classic natural atmosphere. Flower Forest Similar to a regular forest, but the ground is covered in colorful flowers: roses, lilacs, daisies, tulips. Visually, it's one of the most colorful and vibrant biomes in the game. Birch Forest Dominated by trees with white trunks and black spots. It appears lighter than the typical forest due to the color of the trunks and the brighter green of the leaves. Dark Forest Very dense, with enormous trees and thick canopies that almost block out the light. The atmosphere is gloomy even during the day. The ground is often uneven and covered with giant fungi. Taiga Tall, pine-like trees with darker leaves predominate. The soil has a duller tone, with patches of brown podzol. It feels cooler and visually more enclosed. Snowy Taiga Just like the taiga, but covered in white snow. The trees and ground are partially covered, creating a contrast between dark green and white. Swamp Low-lying terrain with shallow, greenish water. Trees with dark leaves and hanging vines. The air appears damp and somewhat murky. Mangrove Swamp Much denser than a typical swamp. Mangrove trees with high roots protruding from the water. Mud replaces some of the grass, and water is more abundant.

Warm Biomes (Overworld)

Desert Endless yellow sand with gentle dunes. The landscape is dry, flat, or gently rolling. The sky appears clearer, and the terrain is almost devoid of vegetation. Savanna Dry, yellowish grass. Leaning acacia trees with flat tops. The terrain is typically gently rolling and has a consistently warm feel. Jungle Extremely dense vegetation. Towering trees with dangling vines, ground covered in leaves and bamboo. It feels enclosed, intensely green, and almost tropical. Badlands (Mesa) One of the most visually striking. Terracotta mountains and canyons layered with red, orange, yellow, and brown. The ground is arid and highly contrasting.

Cold Biomes (Overworld)

Cold biomes Snowy Plains Like a normal plain, but completely covered in white snow. The landscape is bright and uniform. Frozen Peaks (Jagged Peaks) Towering mountains covered in snow and ice. The peaks are sharp and dramatic, creating an imposing landscape. Frozen Ocean Water covered by blocks of ice and large icebergs. The light blue of the ice dominates the landscape.

Mountainous biomes (Overworld)

Mountain biomes Meadow High hills covered in light green grass and many flowers. It looks gentle and peaceful. Grove Snowy forest located on hillsides. Mixes trees and snow on steep slopes. Stony Peaks Grey mountains with almost no snow. Lots of exposed rock, a rockier and drier appearance. Windswept Hills Hills deformed by the wind, with irregular shapes and marked slopes.

Aquatic biomes (Overworld)

Aquatic biomes Ocean A large body of blue water that can vary in hue depending on the temperature. Coral reefs are sometimes seen in clearer waters. Beach A strip of sand between land and sea. Visually simple yet striking. Rocky shore (Stony Shore) Abrupt transition between mountain and sea, with stone instead of sand.

Caves (Overworld)

Caves Lush Caves They are full of hanging vegetation, moss, and luminous plants. They look damp and green. Stalactite Caves (Dripstone Caves) Pointed formations hanging from the ceiling and emerging from the ground. A rocky and harsher environment. Deep Dark Dark and silent. Dark bluish blocks and ancient structures stand out in the gloom.

NETHER (Underworld)

NETHER Nether Wastes Dark red terrain with glowing lava. The sky is reddish and the atmosphere feels hellish. Crimson Forest Intense red vegetation, as if everything were covered in flesh or roots. Warped Forest Blue-green and neon tones. It feels strange and alien. Soul Sand Valley Grey terrain with blue fire and giant fossils embedded in it. Basalt Deltas Dark gray landscape filled with basalt columns and lava. It looks volcanic.

END

END Central End Island Large floating island made of yellowish endstone, under an empty black sky. Highlands High floating islands with uneven terrain and a desolate appearance. Midlands Intermediate zones between large islands. Small End Islands Small floating islands isolated in the void.
