Eltingville Club

All actions take place in the early 2000s (2000-2005) in New York, namely in the Eltingville area of ​​Staten Island. The group most often meets in Bill's basement, where they play D&D, discuss the week's new releases, watch and critique movie parodies, read comics, collect figurines and cards, trade, and so on. Most often, they go to Joe's Comic Book Store, toy stores (to find original superhero toys), Burger King, Same-Bell, McDonald's, and Roy Rogers to collect action figures. They're always arguing over trivial things, picking fights, arguing, and simply hating each other, but the only thing they have in common is their shared interests. They're always calling each other names, making rude jokes about their mothers, bullying each other—they're just stupid geeks and pubescent teenagers. They steal collectible toys from children, often mock them, and make a mess of Joe's.

Josh (Joshua Aaron Levy) holds the title of "Science Fiction Secretary." He is 17 years old, like the other three boys. He is the largest member of the group, overweight, and has acne. He has dark brown, slicked-back hair that he wears in a low ponytail with short, spiky strands falling over his forehead; without a hair tie, it becomes fluffy and curly. Josh has a fleshy, rounded nose, a prominent double chin, and dark eyes. He wears thick, square-framed glasses. Josh is a short-tempered, loud, and overly dramatic "fanboy." He's obsessed with science fiction, particularly the Star Wars and Star Trek franchises, and spends countless hours obsessively cataloging his collections. He's often the butt of the group's jokes, especially from Bill, with whom he regularly gets into verbal and physical altercations over trivial matters. Josh is 190 cm tall - he is the tallest of the guys in the club, and his plumpness makes him seem even bigger. Josh identifies as Jewish, which is part of his family and cultural background. Josh's relationship with his father, Harry Levy, can be characterized as distant and strict, with the father appearing only to stop his son from engaging in yet another destructive behavior. His mother, Strong Levy, is seriously ill. She takes strong medication and has a history of heart attacks, placing certain responsibilities on Josh and tying him to the house. This overprotective environment and home environment contributed to the formation of his character as a "melancholy and unhappy recluse" who constantly complains about everything. Josh's musical tastes (classical and soundtracks) were shaped by his parents, further indicating their significant contribution to his lifestyle. Josh, however, pays little attention to them and behaves in a dissolute and neglectful manner. He wears a gray unbuttoned jacket, olive pants, gray Converse, and a muddy green T-shirt.

Jerry (Jerome Stokes Jr.) holds the title of "Fantasy and Roleplaying Secretary." He's responsible for the club's tabletop roleplaying games (D&D) and often serves as the Dungeon Master. He's also interested in anime and manga. He's the quietest, most withdrawn, and passive member of the group. His soft-spoken nature and lack of assertiveness make him a constant target for ridicule and bullying from the other members, especially Bill. Unlike Bill's parents (who are divorced) or Pete's parents (immigrants with a family business), Jerry's family seems the most "stable" and typically suburban of the others. His mother calls him Gerald. Jerry is the "least terrible" of the four. His parents probably simply don't understand his interests (like Pete's parents), but they don't display the same aggression or indifference as his friends' families. He, like his friends, is 17 years old. He stands 185 cm tall, taller than Jerry and Pete but shorter than Josh. His fatigue makes him appear slightly shorter than his height. And yet, he's just as much of a blockhead as his friends, he's just calmer and gets along better with Pete. Jerry says the phrase "Beep-dee beep-dee, Buck," mimicking the robot Twiki from the 1970s sci-fi series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. It's his signature line, which he inserts into almost every conversation, but he does it deliberately and humorously. Jerry has thick, tousled, blond-yellow hair that sticks up in all directions, with shaved sides and the back of his head. Like his friends, he has skin problems (acne). His straight nose is shaped like a sharp, elongated "beak." He has narrow, white, half-closed eyes and very thin eyebrows with a unibrow. Jerry is very thin, leading Pete to call him "skinny" (in contrast to Josh, who calls him "fat ass," etc.). Jerry always wears a striped turtleneck sweater in dark green and light green, jeans, and red Converse with white soles.

Pete (Pete DiNunzio) holds the official title of "Secretary of Horror." He is 17 years old. Unlike his friends, his fanaticism focuses on horror films, gore, visual effects (VFX), and heavy metal. Pete has a short temper and is prone to aggression, often insulting other club members. However, he sometimes acts as the "voice of reason" and mediator in disputes between Bill and Josh, demanding logical arguments in their discussions. Pete is Italian-American. He has a neutral relationship with his parents. Pete's father owns a business and disapproves of his son's hobbies, considering them useless. Pete also has a sister and several brothers. His parents simply ignore him, just as Pete ignores them. He views them simply as "maintenance staff" who provide him with a home and food. Pete mostly spends his time in his basement, where he stores his collections, and his father, who often has problems with alcohol, views them as "garbage" and simply grumbles at him occasionally and throws out some of his things. So, Pete has virtually no interaction with his family, including his younger sister and older brothers, who no longer live together. Pete keeps a low profile at home, especially around his father. His parents show no interest in him. Pete is short - 170 cm. He is the shortest of his friends. Pete's appearance: a strong jawline, a large Greek nose with a soft hump, white eyes, very thick black eyebrows with a noticeable unibrow, and short, unkempt black hair under a red cap with the visor turned backward. His face is covered in acne (especially his cheeks). He has a light stubble and "tunnels" in his earlobes. Pete has a medium build, slightly thin. He has some muscle in his arms if he flexes them, and slightly noticeable abs. He has facial hair on his arms, legs, and below his belly button. Always dressed in the same thing: black Converse with white soles, regular jeans, a black T-shirt with a horror print (skull), a blue unzipped zip-up, a red cap with the visor turned backwards.

Bill (Bill Dickey) holds the position of "Comic Book Secretary" and is considered the most fanatical and aggressive member of the group. He is 17 years old and is described as a sociopathic, arrogant, and extremely unpleasant "man-child." Bill is obsessed with pop culture, science fiction, and comic books, using his knowledge to enhance himself and humiliate others, including his friends. Bill lives with his mother but treats her with disdain. His parents are divorced but share a childhood together. Bill also has a younger brother, Tommy, with whom his relationship is built on violence and threats (including insults). Bill gathers with friends in his basement, and almost all events take place there. Bill is 180 cm tall - significantly taller than Pete (the shortest guy in the club), but shorter than Jerry and Josh. Bill's appearance: thick, unkempt brown hair, brown eyes, acne-scarred face, glasses with thin black frames, and a straight, ordinary nose. He has a lean build, but still has some muscle and a slight abdominal definition. He always wears a white T-shirt with a superhero logo (his favorite character is Batman), an unbuttoned yellow-orange flannel shirt, jeans, and yellow-orange Converse with white soles.
