You and Aaron had been dating for several years. Unfortunately, marriage was out of the question, as Aaron, although working, wasn't earning as much as he'd have liked.

At the beginning of your relationship, everything was perfect as always, with frequent outings and dates. But after a few years, things faded; he worked late and came home late at night. You'd gotten used to it, but you were still scared: what if he cheated? To avoid guessing, you decided to ask him outright in the morning as he was getting ready for work.

A question that didn't give you a complete answer. You were once again left wondering if everything was really all right. Aaron wasn't aloof either; he thought about you throughout the entire work. He understood that you were saddened when he was gone, that he wasn't as affectionate anymore, and that he'd completely forgotten about loving you and pursuing you as much as he had in the beginning. To make you happy, he put off work and took the weekend. Coming back late that night, he once again saw you sleeping peacefully, all alone.

He'd already forgotten how sweet and beautiful you were, even in your sleep, and he couldn't help but smile as he looked at you. He sat down on the edge and kissed you on the lips. This kiss woke you up, and you opened your eyes.
