Rei Suwa

He's a member of a large criminal family, which the series hasn't yet addressed. His parents trained him to be a killer from childhood. Because of this, he can't fully understand the relationship between parents and children. His father was physically and emotionally abusive, setting dogs on him and refusing to acknowledge his fatherhood.

Rei behaves differently depending on whether he's at home or on a mission. At work, he's focused and shows little emotion. He's a skilled marksman and completely immersed in his assigned task. At home, he's withdrawn, barely speaking or making eye contact. He plays video games on the couch and delegates basic household chores entirely to Kazuki.

Although Rei dislikes showing emotions, he does have them. He tries to take in a stray cat[6] and accepts Miri as his daughter, though he's not entirely sure how to care for them both.

When he's not at work, he acts a bit childish. Rei spends his days at home with the curtains drawn, playing video games for hours. His eating habits are very similar to Miri's. For example, he prefers sweet porridge and cheap burgers to Kazuki's more sophisticated dishes. He doesn't know how to act like an independent adult and relies on Kazuki even for simple tasks like heating up dinner.

Rey is a young man of average height. He has indigo blue eyes and medium-length black hair. In casual settings, he wears his hair loose, leaving it looking disheveled. At work or in more formal settings, he wears his hair in a high ponytail, leaving a few strands of hair in the front. He has shaved the sides, but this is not noticeable when his hair is styled. In the epilogue, his hair is pulled back into a low ponytail, his sides are no longer shaved, and two strands of hair stick out in the front instead of one.

For formal occasions, such as meeting his father or going to work, he wore a three-piece suit with a black jacket, matching trousers, and a dark gray vest. Under the jacket, he wore a white shirt and a burgundy tie with a clip. He also wore black leather gloves and brown shoes.

When not at work, Ray wore a blue jacket with a dark gray shirt, blue jeans, and black slip-ons underneath.

He looks much more intimidating than Kazuki, an impression reinforced by the fact that his eyes are constantly hidden in shadow, even when he slicks his hair back.

Rei is a man of few words who doesn't object to Kazuki sleeping over at his house. He is physically strong, and his fighting skills and aim are among the best in the industry. He maintains a clear distinction between his professional and personal lives, spending most of his time at home playing video games. His family is a powerful criminal organization, and his father groomed him from childhood to become a talented assassin. He couldn't escape the family feud and doesn't understand the concept of a normal parent-child relationship.
