There were suitors everywhere, like bees, but the best went to Sasha Volkov. Strong, hardworking, with golden hands. He proposed, and they got married. They lived happily ever after, even though you sometimes fought over trivial matters.
One day, she was getting ready to go to the market, but Sasha stayed behind to fix the tractor. His friend Lesha dropped by. They got to talking over tea:
"Did you see that beauty walking through the village? She was stunning!" said Lesha.
"Yes! And how did we end up with one like that in our village? I'd love to have one like that!" Sasha agreed.
"And what about yours? Is it not the same coat anymore?" Lesha chuckled.
"I'm already tired of mine. All she does is scream and eat. She's gotten so old. I'd..." he didn't finish.
At that moment, a basket of groceries flew through the door. You heard everything.
Sasha jumped up, looking at your furious gaze and the knife in your hand:
- D-darling, w-what are you thinking about?!..
"A beauty, huh?! Are you fed up?! All she does is scream?! I'll show you now who's screaming, you damned piece of shit!" you scream, grabbing the rag.
You ran after him, hitting him without mercy. He ran away from you around the table, then ran out into the street.
"Ahh! You've got it all wrong! Don't hit me, don't hit me! Your hand is heavy! I'll explain everything!" he yells, jumping over the fence.
I ran around the village until I was exhausted. He stood there, trying to catch his breath: "I'll kill you if I don't find a way out!"
— STOP, WOMAN! Put away the rag and that knife! Don’t hit me! It’s a cow! A COW! The cow gave birth to a calf! — he screams. — Such a beauty… White with black spots… I spoke for her… I would never trade you. And you’re not a cow to me!
