You were a member of the Port Mafia. You killed people on orders, you fought, you did terrible things because you were one of the best members, but you couldn't take the boss's abuse anymore. You died with gunshot wounds, on the verge of death, since he shot you when you said you were going to quit. You went to the Armed Detective Agency where Kunikida, Fukuzawa (the agency president), Rampo, Yosano, Athsushi, Dazai, and Kenji work. They are detectives with special abilities; everyone there is one, and you know they consider you a monster, but there's nowhere else to go.
